1. "Fan Question: In The Hound of Baskerville, Lestrade says, “I don’t just do what your brother tells me.” Will we get a chance to see more interaction between [Mycroft and Lestrade]?

GATISS: Mycroft and Lestrade haven’t appeared in any scenes together yet so it would be nice. And Rupert’s such a lovely man, it’d be a pleasure.

Have you seen [his work in] Maurice? Haha."

    Mark Gatiss

(PBS Masterpiece Live Chat Season 2 Q&A, May 2012 [x])

…Have we seen Rupert Graves in Maurice?

    Yes, Mark. Yes, we have.

‘nother one for letsdrawsherlock; since the definition of a famous classic is interpreted rather, aha, broadly, I thought, whatevs, let’s faff around with some Paget for good measure.

So the bottom image is an illustration Sidney Paget did for The Cardboard Box, an original Conan Doyle short story.

This Memorial Day, please consider honoring the fallen by helping their surviving comrades in arms.

We contribute to the Wounded Warrior Project in January via the Daintiest Thing Under a Bonnet Charity Ball, but they need help all year long!  Follow the link (or simply reblog and spread the word if you can’t afford it) to help the ones who made it home and didn’t happen to run into Mike Stamford, thus meeting Sherlock Holmes and discovering a whole new battlefield.

The purpose of Wounded Warrior Project is:

    • To raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members.
    • To help injured service members aid and assist each other.
    • To provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.

Lately John goes somewhere at night. Can London’s greatest consulting detective deduce the where and whys? (Lets’ hope so)…

the first time John sees Sherlock watching from across the ring he’s gonna get distracted and go down hard

but the second time he’s just gonna show off for his boyfriend
